NBC Commentators: The lack of shame!
Tim Daggett, Elfi Schlegel and Al Trautwig: save the BS... We all know that you are not commenting live and this is all recorded so when you talk endlessly about how fair the judging has been and how "every tenth counts in the All around" and how if Porgras hits 4/4 she will be right in there, it is because you have already seen the end result and know things are going to get all crazy up in there... This is sad, inappropriate and unprofessional! You should be ashamed of yourselves! Weiber is enough of a gymnasts not to need your covering up to justify her medal, this makes her, and USA gymnastics in general, look really bad, not to say anything about NBC television.
I normally hate your commenting, the little jokes, the cliches (yes we know how small a beam is!), the bias towards the USA and Canadians competitors, nevertheless usually I can deal pretty well, but today I have had it with this shit show! Manipulating the audience because you know the end of this competition is going to be a huge controversy is wrong and irresponsible journalism. As a gymnastics fan that takes this sport seriously I feel insulted and have decided to only watch NBC broadcast from now on on mute, I am boycotting you even if I have to do it alone... In addition I will write a letter to NBC complaining about this even though I know is not going to change anything, I feel this has been the last straw.

I didn't realize they were not watching it live... I thought they taped their comments while watching live and the whole competition just aired later. At any rate, I hate their commentary, too. My biggest annoyance at WC 2011 was when Al goes, "Question! Her music was Spanish but she's Japanese. Why didn't she pick Japanese music!?" Uhm... racist much? I hope Koko Tsurumi never hears about that... ugh.
